He still loves his car seat and stroller and is almost always content for a walk around the 'hood. He loves walking downtown to the park and people watching, and getting lots of attention from strangers. His hair is quite an attention grabber!
Unfortunately he's also becoming more fussy, especially with his feedings and especially at night. He will turn his head, arch his back, gag and choke, pull off, then cry because he's still hungry. Lather, rinse, repeat! He's really gassy, spits up quite a bit, occasionally forcefully, and wheezes and grunts a lot in his sleep. The pediatrician thinks it might be dairy allergy and/or reflux so we're trying dairy elimination and Zantac to see if that helps. The first 24 hours without dairy have gone well so hopefully I can keep it up. I hope we can continue breastfeeding, especially after all the work we did to get over his late start and latch issues.
Conor was 11 lbs. 11 oz. at his appointment yesterday - up 16 oz. in 15 days! He's definitely gaining weight well so even though eating seems to cause him some trouble he's getting what he needs, which makes us feel better. We don't like seeing him upset and hopefully if it's something more than typical baby "colic" we can get him some relief.
